Setting Up a Password on Your Computer or Laptop

                                     


1. Open Control Panel: 
Press the WIN key, search for "Control Panel," and click on the result. Alternatively, use the shortcut WIN + R, type "control," and press Enter.

2. Navigate to User Accounts: 
In the Control Panel, select "User Accounts and Family Safety," then click on "User Accounts."

3. Manage Another Account: 
Choose "Manage another account" to access user account settings.

4. Select Your User Account: 
Double-click on the user account for which you want to set up a password.

5. Create a Password: 
Click on "Create a password" to initiate the password setup process.

6. Enter Your Password: 
Type in the password you want to set and confirm it.

7. Set a Password Hint : 
You can provide a password hint to help you remember the password if needed.

8. Finish the Process: 
Click "Create password" to finalize the password setup for your user account.

Now, your computer or laptop is protected with a password, enhancing its security and privacy.
